Stock Control & Compliance Coordinator

THE GIG The Stock Control & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate stock management, operational compliance, and strong governance across all retail locations in EMEA. This role plays a key part in maintaining stock integrity, supporting store teams, and ensuring business processes adhere to internal policies and external regulations. The coordinator will analyse stock data, investigate variances, compliance checks, and work collaboratively with stores, operations, loss prevention and finance teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain stock accuracy for a seamless customer journey. As our S tock Control & Compliance Coordinator, you will be responsible for: Stock Control
  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across the business, identifying discrepancies and investigating root causes.
  • Manage the stock control portal ensuring delivery discrepancies and stock adjustments are actioned and monitored.
  • Conduct stock audits cycle counts mid-year and end-of-year.
  • Support stores and distribution centres with stock-related queries, guidance, and issue resolution.
  • Track and escalate persistent stock issues, proposing process improvements where needed.
Compliance
  • Conduct compliance audits across stores and operational functions, ensuring adherence to company policies, processes, and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain documentation related to compliance checks, audit outcomes, and follow‑up actions.
  • Work closely with operations and store leadership teams to drive accountability and corrective actions.
  • Support the rollout of new compliance initiatives, policies, and procedures.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Analyse patterns in stock loss, procedural non‑compliance, and operational risk.
  • Provide insights that inform training, policy changes, or operational improvements.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the liaison between retail operations, supply chain, loss prevention, and finance teams.
  • Support new system implementations, process changes, and operational training where needed.
  • Assist with annual inventory processes and large‑scale stock projects.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot trends or irregularities in data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other data tools.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
