Student Research Analyst at Private Equity Insights London, United Kingdom
This role offers you the opportunity to expand and develop our editorial business and deepen your knowledge and network in the Private Equity Industry. The role involves 15 hours a week on a voluntary basis, with the aim to join our team full-time upon graduation.

Private Equity Insights is part of United Media () which focuses on building large-scale industry media and conference products in sectors such as insurance, finance, retail, etc. Over the past 10 years, we have organized and hosted 132 events. As of today, we have organically launched 8 media companies and acquired one.

Your Responsibilities
Responsibilities in this job will vary, however, they will be mostly centered around the following:
- Monitoring various news channels and scout the biggest PE Fundraising and M&A Deals to be shared with our 529k LinkedIn community.
- Conducting searches of job openings at top GPs and LPs, as well as the most important job moves, hirings, appointments in the PE sector for our exclusive “Roles in PE” newsletter.
- Building a watchlist of PE funds, both local and international.
- Assisting with the compilation of the World’s #1 Private Equity newsletter.
- Researching and pitching local stories relating to the PE sector in the markets where our company operates.
- Managing the accurate translation of the local stories and ensuring consistency with our editorial standards.
- Monitoring the activity of the top LPs in Europe and reporting all findings to the editorial team.
- Collaborating closely with the editorial team to ensure all deadlines are met.
The successful candidate will preferably have:
- 2.1 or higher predicted grade at a reputable university.
- Knowledge of the private equity ecosystem and financial systems, as well as general commercial awareness.
- Foreign language skills are welcome, but not required.
- Aspiration to become world champion in a field or leader of the company of tomorrow.
- Passion for the company's mission and a commitment to achieving long-term goals.
- UK work permit (we do not sponsor visas).
