Trading Systems Reliability Engineer

Your future role within QRT
We are seeking pragmatic and commercially-oriented Reliability Engineer s with strong C++ development skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in technology and a keen interest in solving business problems. This role is crucial for maintaining the reliability and performance of our systems, ensuring they meet the high standards required in the financial industry.
What you will do:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and performance
- Develop and implement automation tools to streamline operations
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met
- Provide technical support and guidance to other teams
Requirements
- Proven experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role
- Strong understanding of system architecture and cloud technologies
- Proficiency in C++ development, with additional knowledge of Python or C# being a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Commercially oriented mindset with a focus on business outcomes
- Experience working on the buy side is a significant positive.
- Experience with low latency order entry or market data systems is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in the finance industry is preferred but not required.
