Service Engineering Apprenticeships – Swegon Service

Swegon Service is expanding its apprenticeship programme after four successful years of developing skilled Service Engineers. We’re now looking a new apprentice to join our team in London & Southeast .

If you’re practical, motivated, and interested in building a long-term career in engineering, this could be a great place to start.

About the Role

You’ll be working towards the Level 3 Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Engineering Technician qualification while supporting qualified Service Engineers across our Cooling, Ventilation, and Smoke & Fire Service departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting engineers with maintenance, repair, commissioning, and service work on HVAC equipment

  • Travelling to customer sites and company locations as required

  • Supporting with collection and delivery of parts and consumables

  • Attending workshops, training sessions, and off-site learning

  • Completing all required coursework, tests, and assessments

  • Keeping a record of your learning and building your evidence portfolio

  • Following all company and site health & safety procedures, including dynamic risk assessments

  • Building professional working relationships with customers and colleagues

Essential Requirements

  • GCSE Grade 4 (or equivalent) in Maths, Science, and English

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Basic computer skills

  • Fluent spoken and written English
