From a simple press release to product launches, events, stunts, online activations and multiple stakeholder projects, our creative and strategic campaigns are individually designed for maximum impact.

We're seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and organised intern to join our team.

Role Overview

As a PR & Communications assistant, you'll gain hands-on experience in public relations, media outreach, and client engagement. You'll work closely with our team to support high-profile campaigns, develop creative proposals, and manage essential administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Press & Media Relations: Create and maintain press lists, research journalists and influencers, assist with media outreach and product placements.
  • Strategy & Proposal Development: Collaborate on strategies and proposals for high-impact PR campaigns.
  • Content Creation & Reporting: Write engaging copy, compile coverage reports, and plan/post LinkedIn updates.
  • Client & Event Management & Logistics Support: Liaise with clients, attend meetings (including minute-taking), and assist at events.
  • Ad Management: Research media outlets, book advertisements, and manage ad budgets.
  • General Administration: Provide support with day-to-day administrative tasks, including creating PowerPoint presentations, updating documents, and proofreading.

Qualifications & Skills

  • A genuine interest in PR and communications
  • A passion for children's content is essential.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and highly organised.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • A good eye for detail.
  • An additional language would be advantageous but is not essential.

Placement Details

  • Full Time ( Expected work hours: Between 10am and 6pm, given the nature of our work, there needs to be some flexibility with working hours, and there will be some evening and weekend work on an ad hoc basis). Total hours 30 per week
  • Start Date: September
  • Duration: Three months initial placement with possibility to extend for longer
  • Location: Flexible - with remote working, and time in SW17 across the week. Please note I work from home.
  • Salary: You will receive a salary and out-of-pocket expenses for travel and subsistence outside of travelling to and from the office
