Your new role

As Senior Core Operations Engineer you will have a final decision within the escalation chain on the core network. This role will provide insight into various technologies whilst initially working on Public Sector projects.

* Provide technical expertise in the development, implementation and administration of new and existing services

* Lead on infrastructure projects including maintenance and improvement

* Interface with multiple areas of technology and multiple departments to support in implementation of new solutions and products

What you’ll need to succeed

* Must be eligible to gain and maintain SC clearance

* Experience with various methods of load balancing

* Strong troubleshooting ability

* Service Provider networks

* MPLS, L3 VPN

* Routing protocols (inc. IS-IS & BGP, OSPF)

* Switching protocols (preferably VRRP, VPLS, Dot1Q, QinQ )
