Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional, captivating Geography instruction across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE)
Prepare to assume full departmental leadership, scheme-of-work design, and curriculum oversight as Head of Geography in January
Design and execute lessons that sharpen spatial awareness, critical analysis, and global inquiry
Monitor, analyze, and elevate pupil performance to secure outstanding GCSE examination results
Direct and lead immersive local and regional fieldwork experiences to deepen practical understanding
Maintain a focused, positive classroom environment that fosters academic curiosity and ambition
Perform Form Tutor duties, driving the holistic tracking and wellbeing of your student cohort
Shape the strategic direction and ongoing growth of the broader Humanities department

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will feature:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognized UK teaching credentials (PGCE / SCITT)

Superb classroom presence and the ability to challenge and stretch academically ambitious pupils
