Product Manager
- Own global payments vision and roadmap: Define and evolve Papaya’s payment product strategy, scaling, resilience, and regulatory alignment across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead the product lifecycle: Manage products from ideation and requirements gathering to development, launch, and continuous iteration.
- Cross-functional leadership: Partner with engineering, design, operations, compliance, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products on time and at scale.
- Customer-centric mindset: Engage directly with customers to deeply understand their needs, validate product direction, and prioritize features that deliver measurable value.
- Data-driven decisions: Use analytics, KPIs, and user research to evaluate product performance, identify opportunities, and inform prioritization.
- Go-to-market readiness: Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure successful product launches, adoption, and client satisfaction.
- Innovation and thought leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends in fintech, HR tech, and SaaS to keep Papaya’s offerings at the forefront of the market.
- Experience: 5+ years in product management, with at least 3 years focused on global payments, payment networks, or financial insfrastructure.Track record: Proven success in building and scaling products within fintech, payments, or HR/payroll technology.
- Technical fluency: Ability to work closely with engineers; comfortable discussing APIs, integrations, data flows, and system architecture.
- Customer-first mindset: Strong ability to translate customer problems into scalable product solutions.
- Methodologies: Deep familiarity with agile practices, scrum ceremonies, and iterative product development.
- Commercial acumen: Strong understanding of business models, pricing, and the intersection between product design and revenue growth.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to inspire internal teams and present confidently to stakeholders.
- Nice to have: Prior work with payroll technology, mass payout providers, card issuing, or embedded financial platforms.
