We’re looking for an Operations Technician to join a respected and growing insurer, supporting both Syndicate and MGA trading platforms.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the operational and analytical side of insurance — ensuring data quality, improving processes, and supporting underwriting and finance teams with essential reporting and governance activity.

The role:

As an Underwriting Operations Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring operational excellence and underwriting control. Working closely with underwriting, finance, and compliance teams, you’ll help maintain data integrity, streamline processes, and contribute to critical regulatory and management reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and improving underwriting data quality across Syndicate teams.

• Supporting Finance and Underwriting with monthly close and reporting processes.

• Producing accurate MI and reports to support decision-making and outstanding premium monitoring.

• Assisting in the preparation of regulatory returns (including Lloyd’s PMD).

• Handling LIC bureau queries and contributing to data validation clearance.

• Maintaining operational procedures and supporting ad-hoc projects.

What you’ll bring:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Lloyd’s Market .

• Solid understanding of Syndicate underwriting models and reporting.

• Progress towards CII qualifications (preferred).

• Good working knowledge of Policy Administration, e-placement and Lloyd’s systems .

• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 , with a proactive, collaborative mindset.
