Enterprise Architect - inside IR35 (IT)
An Enterprise Architect is required for an initial 6 month contract. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week on site in London and is inside IR35 so will require working via an FCSA accredited umbrella company. Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles within the insurance sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Specialty Lines insurance products, processes, and regulatory landscape.
- Proven track record in leading digital transformation, legacy system modernization, and designing cloud-native architectures.
- Strong ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, resolve conflicting priorities, and drive consensus to achieve strategic business outcomes.
- Demonstrated expertise in modern technology stacks, hybrid cloud environments, and integration architectures.
- Solid understanding of operational, non-functional, and data security requirements, with experience designing compliant and scalable solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of data platforms, AI/ML frameworks, and integration technologies.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Microsoft Azure Data & AI, AWS, OpenAI, Databricks, Snowflake.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Background in consulting or advisory roles, with exposure to strategic planning and enterprise delivery.
- Experience working with Acturis, Guidewire, Radar Live, or similar core insurance platforms.
- Professional certification such as TOGAF (or equivalent) is preferred
