Location - EC4M7AW What you’ll be doing (with style, of course):- Supporting and deputising for the Manager in the efficient day-to-day running of the busy hospitality operation, which includes meeting room hospitality, free-issue tea & coffee points, event catering and ad-hoc employee dining catering provisions.
- Supervising on-site catering staff, plus casual staff to deliver a high quality service at all times and continuously improve standards.
- Supporting and deputising for the Manager in liaising with Grazing HQ to coordinate all catering requirements for the client. Acting as a vital link between the client, on-site catering team and Grazing kitchen & HQ.
- Ensure that we deliver a high quality and well organised services; that all food is prepared and presented to a high standard as per company standards and current legislation.
- Ensure all deliveries from Grazing HQ and third-party suppliers are checked on arrival, reporting any damages or shortages immediately, thinking on your feet to resolve any issues and ensuring our customers receive fantastic food and service at all times.
- Ensure all food is correctly labelled and signed with clear information provided to customers to allow them to find allergens information for all menu items being provided.
- Establish and maintain friendly and professional relationships with individuals at all levels within the Company and the Client organisation.
- Adhere to Statutory and Company standards of hygiene, health and safety and take any action as is necessary
- To ensure effective communication with both the Grazing management and HQ team and with the client.
- To provide feedback to the Hospitality Team Leader and Grazing Catering Manager on any client comments or special requests made by the clients and their guests.
- Ensure that all meeting rooms are laid out in accordance with the clients’ requirements.
- To hold and/or participate in daily Team Briefings and handovers with the hospitality delivery team.
- To support the Hospitality Team Leader in preparing rotas for the hospitality team and arranging additional casual staff cover as needed and in-line with budgets.
- To actively participate in running events during normal office hours ensuring the correct standards are met and event procedures are followed from start to finish.
- To support the Grazing events team on coordinating and planning larger and evening events held at the clients’ offices.
- Undertake regular checks to ensure that all meeting rooms are clean and hospitality services are presented to the highest standards and the client's satisfaction.
- Adhere to the Company security procedures and maintain client confidentiality at all times.
- Coordinate and deliver on hospitality orders received from the client via their internal meeting room booking system, email and phone.
- Support the Hospitality Team Leader in placing orders via GRUB/FoodStorm for food and drinks required from Grazing HQ in-line with delivery lead times.
- Support the Manager r in placing all supplier orders directly with approved suppliers, ensuring best practice purchasing policies and stock management are implemented at all times.
- Support the Manager in processing invoices and credit notes onto Grazing’s account system (ReceiptBank) in a timely fashion and in-line with monthly accounting timetables.
- To provide guidance and support to the Hospitality General Assistant as required, leading by example to deliver a great service
- To carry out any reasonable request made by the management, outside normal duties, but within the scope of the job.
- Have a background in hospitality and at least some experience supervising a team (or you’re ready to take that next step)
- Love food, love people, and love keeping service slick and standards sky-high
- Are confident managing the pace of a busy office service, with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for timing
- Know how to lead from the front—energetic, approachable, and solution-focused
- Have strong organisation and communication skills.
- A deliciously competitive pay rate of £16 per hour
- Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week
