(Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required) is a critical role in British Home where you will support service improvement. You will work in collaboration with residents and the Senior Management Team to develop, evolve and improve the way teams work together to achieve shared outcomes. Working Hours: 3 days over 7-day period, as agreed with the manager. Resident Engagement Lead - Role Specific Duties:
To support the Residents Panel in promoting and supporting mechanisms for residents to participate in decision making affecting British Home.
To support the Residents Panel to enable the smooth running of meetings and activities through effective facilitation
As well as supporting the organisation of regular Residents Panel meetings, you will be required to support the panel to prepare agendas for all residents groups and take and distribute minutes, once agreed by the panel. You will ensure, that all actions are taken recorded and reported back to the group.
To support and enable residents to meaningfully engage with the wider community, and to take part in forums such as the Neurological Alliance, UKABIF etcÂ…
To support residents to take part in Trustee board meetings and other events, ensuring that residents views are discussed or issues raised are put forward for consideration by the Trustees
To work with the panel to identify courses and conferences that would be of interest and relevance to the work of resident representatives and organise travel/attendance and accommodation as appropriate.
To work with residents to ensure that:
resident satisfaction surveys are meaningful,
establish if services are meeting resident needs and expectations,
the Senior Management Team is held to account for delivering on action plans.
To work with the panel to develop new and relevant ways of undertaking surveys. You will collect and analyse data from consultation exercises, produce reports and support the panel in recommending actions and review procedures. Resident Engagement Lead - Working with Others:

To organise work effectively and utilise digital platforms, alongside ensuring those in each clinical area have opportunities for face-to-face contact and discussions.
To look for opportunities to hear the voices of the residents and the families and/or advocates accessing our services and enable co-production.
Ensure accurate and notes and records of all contacts are recorded within the electronic notes system.
Identify personal learning and development needs and attend appropriate internal and/or external training as identified in personal development plan and take proactive advantage of the professional support offered by British Home to meet the demands of working within this challenging field.
