Nanny-Housekeeper in EN4, Job ID J221C3

A welcoming family based in Barnet, London , is seeking an experienced Nanny Housekeeper to care for their 3-year-old child while helping maintain their family home.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience and speak fluent English. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, organised, and flexible, with confidence managing both childcare and housekeeping responsibilities. A driver would be a bonus but is not essential. The successful candidate should also be comfortable travelling with the family worldwide .

The role will involve caring for the child, supporting their daily routines and development, preparing child-focused meals, and maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the home. Flexibility to care for the property when the family is away will also be required.

A valid first aid certification is required for this role.

Working hours: 35 hours per week , with a choice of Monday to Friday or Wednesday to Sunday. Flexibility to work additional hours is required.

Duties include:

• caring for a 3-year-old child
• ensuring the child's safety, well-being, and development
• establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
• bathing and maintaining proper hygiene
• preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the child
• engaging the child in interactive play and educational activities
• arranging outdoor outings, such as visits to the park
• encouraging early literacy through reading
• supporting the child's educational development
• keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean and organised
• carrying out general housekeeping duties throughout the home
• sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces
• cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and the kitchen
• managing laundry, ironing, and changing bed linen
• keeping dishware clean and organised
• preparing food with a focus on the child's needs
• caring for the property when the family is away
• travelling with the family worldwide when required
