Financial Services Associate

The Role You’ll sit within a specialist national Financial Services group, working with leading partners and advising major brands on a broad range of regulatory matters. Expect to:
- Advise on the Consumer Credit Act , regulated lending, and retail credit products
- Draft and review regulated consumer credit documentation
- Guide clients through FCA authorisations, permissions and perimeter issues
- Advise on FSMA , the FCA Handbook, SM&CR, and appointed representative arrangements
- Support clients with outsourcing, compliance frameworks, governance and oversight
- Work on matters involving payment services and e-money
- Manage client relationships and supervise junior team members
- Lead on client delivery, with scope to contribute to BD and thought leadership
What You’ll Need
- 2+ PQE in Financial Services, regulatory, commercial or consumer finance work
- Strong understanding of:
- Consumer Credit Act 1974
- FSMA 2000
- FCA Handbook
- Experience drafting regulated finance documents
- Confidence advising on regulatory perimeter issues, authorisations and compliance
- Interest in consumer finance, fintech, payments, and retail financial services
- Ability to manage client relationships and support juniors
