Afterschool Nanny in Maida Vale, Job ID J21F99
A lovely family based in Maida Vale, London, is seeking an experienced Afterschool Nanny to care for their preschool-aged and school-aged children.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of childcare experience and will speak fluent English. Speaking Hindi or German would be a small bonus. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, organised, and confident supporting children's daily routines, learning, and development.
The nanny will be responsible for ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development after school. Duties will include school pick-ups, preparing healthy meals and snacks, organising engaging activities and playground outings, helping with homework, and maintaining the children's routines. The role will also involve keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas tidy and assisting with household tasks related to the children. Additional full-day hours during school holidays are available but optional.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00/2:30 pm to 6:00/6:30 pm, for approximately 20 hours per week. Optional additional hours are available during school holidays, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with flexibility.
Duties include:
- caring for preschool-aged and school-aged children
- collecting the children from school
- ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development
- establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- organising and participating in educational activities and playground outings
- providing homework assistance and supporting the children's educational development
- keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean and organised
- assisting with household tasks related to the children
- creating a safe, happy, and nurturing environment
The family is looking for someone who can start in September 2026.
