A lovely family based in Bayswater, London, is seeking a Part-time Live-out Housekeeper to help maintain their private residence and support the smooth running of their home.

The ideal candidate will speak fluent English, and Spanish would be a bonus. Someone reliable, organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing general housekeeping and cooking duties would be ideal for this role.

The housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the home. Duties will include floor care, dusting, polishing, bathroom cleaning, kitchen maintenance, laundry, ironing, bed making, linen changes, and dishware organisation.

The role will also include cooking nutritious and healthy meals for the family, following recipes when required. The family would like someone confident preparing fresh dishes such as pasta, meat, fish, soups, and salads.

The family has an 8-month-old child. Occasional short periods of childcare support may be requested while the mother is around, but this will not be the main focus of the role. No pet care will be required.

A valid first aid certification would be a bonus due to the occasional childcare support.

Working hours: 3 or 4 days per week, around 15 hours per week. The family is flexible on days and can offer morning or lunchtime hours.

Duties include:

• maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the private residence
• sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area
• washing, drying, folding, and organising clothing and linens
• managing laundry and ironing
• making beds and changing linens as needed
• cleaning and organising dishware
• loading and unloading the dishwasher
• cooking nutritious and healthy meals for the family
• following recipes when required
• preparing dishes such as pasta, meat, fish, soups, and salads
• occasionally assisting with an 8-month-old child for short periods when requested

The family is looking for someone who can start on 1 September 2026.
