About the Role
Advantage Angels is recruiting Travelling Healthcare Assistants for flexible agency shifts across North London. We are actively placing experienced HCAs in care homes, nursing homes and supported living services throughout Islington, Camden, Haringey, Barnet, Enfield, Hackney and the wider North London area.
This role is ideal for experienced HCAs based in or willing to travel to North London who want the flexibility of agency work, consistent ongoing shifts, and the variety of working across multiple settings and client groups. Where travel is required your costs are covered, and where overnight stays are necessary accommodation is arranged and paid for by Advantage Angels.
North London has a high concentration of care homes and nursing homes — particularly across Barnet, Enfield and Haringey — with consistent demand for experienced, reliable agency Healthcare Assistants year round.
What You'll Receive

Your Responsibilities
As a Travelling Healthcare Assistant with Advantage Angels across North London you will:
Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities across a range of care settings
Support mobility, comfort and wellbeing of service users
Provide emotional support and companionship
Work alongside Registered Nurses and wider care teams across multiple settings
Maintain accurate care records in line with CQC standards
Adapt quickly to different care environments, client groups and working practices
Represent Advantage Angels professionally in every placement
What We're Looking For
A minimum of 6 months paid UK care experience in a care home, nursing home or hospital setting
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Willingness and ability to travel across North London — all travel costs are covered
The right to work in the UK — we do not offer visa sponsorship
No criminal convictions
Flexibility and adaptability to work across different settings, client groups and boroughs
Up to date mandatory training certificates including a practical moving and handling certificate
Confident using a floor hoist, Sara Steady and other moving and handling equipment
Areas CoveredThis role covers North London including: Islington, Camden, Haringey, Barnet, Enfield, Hackney, Waltham Forest, Tottenham, Wood Green, Finchley, Hendon, Southgate, Palmers Green, Edmonton, Whetstone, Muswell Hill and surrounding areas.
