The Role

For more than 160 years, the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA) has been one of the world's leading drama schools, renowned for its training, examinations and commitment to developing exceptional talent. Its alumni have shaped the performing arts industry across stage and screen, including President Benedict Cumberbatch.

Following the award of indefinite Taught Degree Awarding Powers, LAMDA is entering an exciting new phase, with an increased focus on governance, regulatory compliance, risk management and institutional effectiveness.

To support this evolution, LAMDA has created the new role of Head of Governance. Reporting to the Principal & CEO, with a reporting line to the Chair of the Board, this role will lead governance, compliance, risk and assurance activity across the institution. The postholder will provide strategic advice to senior leaders and the Board while managing a small governance team.
