Eligibility: Barnet residents only
Organisation: Our Yard
Our Yard is seeking friendly and enthusiastic Café Volunteers to support the day-to-day running of our community café.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to help create a welcoming community space.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers and provide friendly, helpful service
Assist with serving food and drinks
Clear tables and help keep the café clean and tidy
Support basic food preparation and kitchen tasks where appropriate
Assist with café opening, closing and daily operations
Work as part of a team to create a positive customer experience
What We're Looking For
Friendly and approachable manner
Good communication skills
Reliable and willing to help
Ability to work as part of a team
Previous hospitality experience is welcome but not essential
