Consultant Dermatologist
Our client is a private, founder‑led clinical practice operating at the premium end of the dermatology and aesthetics market. The Consultant Dermatologist will be responsible for delivering high‑quality dermatological and aesthetic consultations and treatments, building trusted long‑term patient relationships, and contributing to the overall standard of care across the clinic. The role reports into senior clinic leadership and requires a calm, professional presence, strong clinical judgement, and the ability to operate efficiently in a busy private practice environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dermatology and aesthetic consultations, diagnosis, and management in line with clinic standards
- Create bespoke, long‑term treatment plans covering procedures, skincare, lifestyle, and maintenance
- Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice and governance requirements
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation including consent, treatment notes, and aftercare
- Deliver a consistently high standard of patient experience from consultation through follow‑up
- Collaborate with clinic management to enhance patient journey and service standards
- Offer education‑led product guidance as part of treatment planning
- Contribute to selected educational talks, training, or community initiatives where appropriate
- Remain up to date with advancements in dermatology and aesthetic medicine through continued professional development
- Support compliance with regulatory and governance requirements, including participation in audits
Experience Requirements
- GMC registration with appropriate specialist registration or recognised equivalent pathway
- Private practice experience within dermatology and/or aesthetics
- Strong clinical and aesthetic judgement aligned with natural, refined outcomes
- A calm, professional presence with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced clinical environment
- Entrepreneurial and self‑sufficient mindset, comfortable within a founder‑led setting
- Commitment to the highest standards of clinical governance, service, and continued learning
