Registered Mental Health Nurse - Eating Disorder and CAMHS service

Permanent - Barnet

£38,510 - £42,000 per annum - depending on experience

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will have a valid NMC registration (RMN) with no restrictions, and be working clinically in a healthcare setting (experience of working with CAMHS and Eating disorders is essential).

What we'd like to give you

As you help define our patients' futures, we'll do the same for yours. As well as giving you the opportunity to experience the kind of clinical variety that rarely exists in the NHS, you'll enjoy a competitive salary and a benefits package that includes a contribution to your NMC revalidation. On top of that we also have a dynamic and seamless approach to learning and development that will see you continuously progress and achieve your ambitions.

We are Proud to offer you:
  • Excellent salary
  • Many benefits in line with the NHS
  • Working with a dedicated multidisciplinary team
  • NMC Payment in full
  • Free on-site parking
  • Subsidised Meals
  • Free use of onsite gym facilities
  • Enhanced maternity pay
  • Flexible benefits including reduced rates and access to new schemes including gym membership, IT technology (laptops / tablets / smartphones) and private healthcare
  • Access to development opportunities including:
  • Sponsorship of professional qualifications through our Individual Professional Development (IPD) panel
  • Improved CPD application & panel process
  • £250 Contribution towards CPD
  • Leadership & management development
  • Support with your Revalidation
  • Long service award
About the role:

As well as providing outstanding treatment and care, we aim to deliver a service that's empowering for our patients. One in which we can support them in maximising the quality of their life in the least restrictive manner possible. So when you join our multi-disciplinary team, you'll work together to develop personalised, recovery-focused programmes and care pathways. Playing a vital leadership role on the ward, you'll also use your expertise and ideas to help us continually evolve best practice.

What we'd like from you:

While you'll be RMN qualified and NMC registered, we'll be looking for a range of qualities that go beyond your qualifications and technical ability. Whether you are currently working elsewhere or returning to practice, you'll be patient centric with a commitment to delivering high quality care. Finely tuned decision-making skills, communication skills and organisational capacity are a must, while your flexibility and can-do attitude will enable our patients to build on their existing strengths and feel positive about their lives.
