Fire Risk Officer

A Housing Association is currently looking for a Fire Safety Officer on a temporary basis for 3-6 months

Key responsibilities are as follows

Monitor and manage completion of Fire Risk Assessment actions

Provide guidance to internal staff members on completion of Fire Safety action

Communicate with internal teams to help with access

Raise, track & receipt purchase orders our system

Lead weekly and monthly contract meetings with contractor/s, set agendas, consistently reviewing workloads, expected completions, work in progress

Liaise with consultants – Savills and Clear Safety when needed for post inspections, quote checks, specifications

PAYE £23.03 Umbrella £30.46

Hybrid role: 3 days in the office Shifts: 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

Essential requirements

Must have a similar background in fire safety

Ability to manage contractors, build strong working relationships to ensure the buildings are compliant and safe for our residents

Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Effective IT skills including intermediate MS Office skills

Must be immediately available or on short notice
