Finance Officer - Well Resourced Secondary School - Hackney

A successful, ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in Hackney is looking to appoint a dedicated Finance Officer to join its experienced business support team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase orders, invoices, supplier payments and account reconciliations

• Monitor departmental budgets and track expenditure across the school

• Support financial reporting, month-end procedures and audit preparation

• Liaise with senior leaders, budget holders and external suppliers

• Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with school policies and financial regulations

• Assist with procurement and the efficient management of purchasing processes
