Professional Nanny – Notting Hill (W11)

Schedule: 45 hours per week
Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–6:00pm
Friday: 8:00am–1:00pm
Salary: £50,000 gross per annum (£21 gross per hour)

A warm and welcoming family based in Notting Hill are seeking an experienced, professional nanny to care for their 11-month-old child. This is a full-time, sole-charge position, ideal for a calm, nurturing, and thoughtful nanny who can provide a gentle and engaging environment.
The baby has a quieter personality and particularly enjoys music and creative play, so the family are looking for a nanny who is sensitive, patient, and naturally creative in their approach.

Key Responsibilities
Providing attentive, sole-charge care for an 11-month-old
Supporting developmental milestones through a gentle, child-led approach
Planning and engaging in age-appropriate activities, with a strong focus on:
Music and creative play
Sensory activities (e.g. messy play, playdough)
Seasonal arts and crafts
Encouraging early language, confidence, and social development
Organising outings such as trips to the park, local playgroups, and the library
Preparing healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for the child
Maintaining the child’s daily routine, including naps and feeding
Keeping nursery and play areas clean, tidy, and organised
Managing child-related laundry and supplies

The Ideal Candidate
Experienced in caring for babies of a similar age
Calm, gentle, and emotionally attuned
Creative and enthusiastic about planning engaging home-based activities
Enjoys a balance of indoor play and outdoor exploration
Proactive, organised, and able to take initiative
Excellent communication skills
Reliable and professional
Norland or Chiltern trained of interest

Additional Information
The family home is a top-floor maisonette (three flights of stairs). Buggy storage is available on the ground floor
The family do not have pets
A driver would be beneficial, as the family may get a car in the future, though this is not essential
Travel to Australia may be offered, but is entirely optional

Requirements
Up-to-date First Aid certification
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
