Head of Age Well Commissioning

My Local Authority client in Central London is looking to appoint a talented Head of Age Well Commissioning on a Contract basis.

The role leads a commissioning team focused on older and/or frail residents, including physical disabilities.

About the role:

Based in Central London (hybrid):

• Contribute to the professional development of the team and co–ordinate the delivery of a complex programme of work centred on core health and care priorities.
• Contribute to planning for continuous reduction in health and wellbeing inequalities across the borough in collaboration across the council, the wider health system
• Take stock of the current commissioning arrangements and the status of public health–commissioned services, engaging with Public Health Consultants, Heads of Programme, and Policy Officers to develop and implement a commissioning plan for the division
• Assess, rationalise, and deliver all aspects of high quality public health commissioning with a view to tackling inequalities, improving outcomes and generating value for residents

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Significant experience of All Age Commissioning.
• Joint / integrated experience is essential
• Politically astute, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• ICB / NHS / CCG / Local Authority experience is essential.

What's on offer:

• Salary: 425+ per day, inside IR35
• Hybrid Working (flexible)
• Contract type: Contract
• Hours: 09:00 –17:00 Monday to Friday
