London

Empower Students. Shape Futures. Inspire Confidence.

At LCCA, we believe education should go beyond the classroom. Our teaching philosophy blends academic theory with real-world experience to ensure our students are career-ready and confident in their abilities. We’re now seeking a Student Success Tutor to join our progressive academic team — someone with the heart of a mentor and the mindset of a coach.

Location: London - Tower Hill & Aldgate

Working Model: Onsite

Contract: Part time, Permanent

This is a part time position (3-4 days a week) and weekend work will be required for this role as we are open 7 days a week.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Student Success Tutor, you’ll play a central role in shaping student journeys. You’ll provide proactive academic support, act as a personal tutor, and work collaboratively with student services to help every learner succeed. This isn’t just about teaching — it’s about transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group academic support across subject areas.
  • Act as a personal tutor, helping students set SMART goals and track progress.
  • Use data (e.g., attendance, assessments) to identify students at risk and intervene early.
  • Guide students to relevant services (wellbeing, careers, academic help).
  • Keep clear records of interventions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Promote an inclusive, reflective, and growth-focused learning environment.
  • Provide regular feedback that motivates, builds confidence, and drives improvement.

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Fashion, Hospitality, Management).
  • PGCE (or working towards it) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching or supporting learners in Further or Higher Education.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A student-first attitude and cultural awareness.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and student support tools.

Desirable:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience supporting diverse and international student cohorts.

Why Work With Us?

  • Make a Real Impact: Help students build confidence, independence, and employability.
  • Progressive Environment: Be part of a forward-thinking academic team.
  • Career Development: Access to CPD, training, and growth pathways.
  • Collaborative Culture: Work within a diverse, inclusive, and creative community.
  • Modern Approach: Embrace experiential learning, chunked content delivery, and real-time feedback.

Ready to Make a Difference?

If you're passionate about guiding students toward success and want to be part of a vibrant academic institution that values innovation, inclusion, and impact — we’d love to hear from you.
