Financial Controller

Your new company
I am working with an established international publishing brand in London hiring a qualified Accountant to join the business as a Financial Controller. You will be working for acollaborative and supportive business based in central London, which offers hybrid working.
Your new role

Preparation of financial accounts and consolidation process
Ownership of the balance sheet process
Management of external audit
Preparing management accounts
TAX / VAT management
Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes;
Cashflow forecasting
Leading the audits
Management of team six
Ownership of all finance IT systems
Variance analysis to explain budget vs. actual performance and recommend corrective actions;

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified ACA / ACCA
Practice into industry with experience preparing group accounts
UK GAAP / IFRS experience
International entity experience
Stock experience desired not a pre-requisite
Ideally industry experience from a related sector background.
All round finance experience, happy to get stuck into the detail
