CCDO Demolition Operative

44 hours per week PAYE only
Amalga Limited are a specialist airport construction logistics contractor and have been awarded contracts at Heathrow Airport to support the delivery of several major construction projects. We are looking for CCDO Demolition Operatives, Strip Out Operative and Construction Strip Out Operatives as Amalga Limited provide construction logistical support including the delivery of equipment, consumables, and airside cleared staff into the airside areas.
Key responsibilities
* CCDO Demolition Operatives, Strip Out Operative and Construction Strip Out Operatives needed for dismantling and removing internal and external fixtures and fittings within terminal buildings.
* Carrying out demolition and strip out work, including cladding, ceilings, walls, flooring and furniture.
* CCDO Demolition Operatives useUsing hand tools and power tools, including reciprocating saws.
* Safely handling and disposing of construction waste.
* Working within integrated teams across
* CCDO Demolition Operatives would be supporting other trades and assisting with temporary works where required.
* Following safe systems of work and maintaining high standards of health and safety.
The successful candidate
* A valid CCDO Demolition Card.
* Previous experience as CCDO Demolition Operatives, Strip Out Operative, Construction Strip Out Operatives or Refurbishment Operative.
* Experience using hand tools and power tools.
* The ability to follow safe systems of work and site procedures.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Right to work in the UK, valid photo ID and proof of address.
* The ability to meet Heathrow Airport security and vetting requirements.
* Previous airport experience is advantageous but not essential.
We can offer
Amalga Limited offer PAYE employment with competitive hourly rates depending on CCDO level:
* Green CCDO Demolition Labourer: £17.00 per hour
* Red CCDO Demolition & Refurbishment Operative: £17.60 per hour
* Blue Advanced Demolition Operative: £18.20 per hour
