Primary School Teaching Assistant
Location: East Finchley, North London
Start Date: Immediate
Roles: Full-time & Long-term Destination Education is working in partnership with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in East Finchley that is looking to appoint enthusiastic Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to start as soon as possible with a number of roles coming available. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, as well as work one-to-one with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Responsibilities: Provide classroom support for the class teacher and pupils.
Deliver tailored support to individual pupils or small groups, including those with SEN such as Autism, ADHD, or Speech & Language needs.
Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Encourage and motivate pupils to reach their full potential both academically and socially.Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (desirable).
A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs.
Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
An enhanced DBS on the update system (We can support by putting a DBS in place)What We Offer:
