Job Title: Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner – Orpington East
Location: Orpington East
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: £48,000 – £62,000 per year depending on experience.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting a Lead Advanced Nurse Practitioner for a GP surgery in Orpington East . The role suits an experienced advanced practitioner who wants a settled position with real clinical responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous consultations for patients of all ages.
- Manage acute presentations and exacerbations of chronic disease.
- Issue prescriptions and make onward referrals.
- Mentor practice nurses and support their development.
- Contribute to clinical governance, audit and protocol review.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current NMC PIN
- Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Non-medical prescriber
- Confident working autonomously with GP support
