We’re working with a welcoming and supportive school in Croydon that is seeking a calm, reliable Midday Meal Supervisor to join their team. The school prides itself on creating a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels valued during the school day — including at lunchtime, which is an important social and wellbeing space for pupils.

The children are lively, friendly, and full of character. They simply need adults who can guide them, encourage positive play, and help lunchtime run smoothly and safely.

This is a setting where staff care deeply, work as a team, and celebrate every small moment of progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground during lunch breaks
• Support children with routines, healthy eating, and positive social interactions
• Encourage safe, active play and help manage minor conflicts or worries
• Create a calm, friendly atmosphere and build positive relationships with pupils
• Ensure the wellbeing, safety, and happiness of all children in your care
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain a structured, supportive environment
