Nanny to work in the afternoons, Job ID J22354
A lovely family in Hackney, London seeks an afterschool nanny to care for their two children. The ideal candidate will be proactive, helpful, and able to use their initiative while supporting the children's after-school routine. Cooking dinner for the children is also expected. A valid first aid qualification is a must.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 3:30pm to 7:30pm.
Duties include:
- collecting the children from school
- taking the children to after-school activities such as the playground or soft play
- organising creative and age-appropriate activities
- preparing and serving dinner for the children
- feeding the children
- starting the children's bath-time routine
- ensuring the children are safe, happy, and well cared for
- keeping the children's areas tidy
- carrying out light housekeeping related to the children
The family is looking for someone to start on 14 September 2026.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
