Role Overview
The Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of the school premises, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, managing maintenance schedules, supervising contractors, and leading a small site team.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all site operations, maintenance, and security
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance across the school
• Ensure full compliance with H&S, safeguarding, and statutory requirements
• Line-manage caretakers and external contractors
• Support with school events and the smooth running of the site
Requirements
• Previous experience in a site or facilities management role
• Strong working knowledge of health & safety and compliance
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Ability to carry out basic repairs and maintenance tasks
