We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated Teacher of Psychology to join the successful Social Sciences faculty at a high-achieving secondary school/academy in the London Borough of Lambeth .
This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position starting in January 2026 (or sooner).

The Opportunity
The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Psychology specialist with a passion for teaching A-Level students. This is a crucial role supporting the academic success of students studying one of the most popular and highly academic subjects at Key Stage 5.
This is a dedicated classroom teacher role within a supportive department. The school is committed to continuous staff development, offering excellent mentoring and CPD for all staff and pathways for those who aspire to take on future leadership responsibilities (TLR) .

We Are Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) .
- A proven track record as an excellent Psychology Teacher , with essential experience teaching the subject at Key Stage 5 (A-Level) .
- Strong subject knowledge across all core topics (e.g., approaches, research methods, debates, and specific option units).
- A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students to achieve top grades and develop critical analytical skills.
- A collaborative mindset, committed to contributing positively to departmental planning and student success.
Salary and Benefits
- Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Inner London Teachers (currently £40,317 - £62,496 for 2025/2026).
