We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated Teacher of Psychology to join the successful Social Sciences faculty at a high-achieving secondary school/academy in the London Borough of Lambeth .

This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position starting in January 2026 (or sooner).

• Psychology Teacher required (Main/Upper Pay Scale)

• Teach Psychology, primarily at Key Stage 5 (A-Level)

The Opportunity

The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Psychology specialist with a passion for teaching A-Level students. This is a crucial role supporting the academic success of students studying one of the most popular and highly academic subjects at Key Stage 5.

We Are Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) .
• A proven track record as an excellent Psychology Teacher , with essential experience teaching the subject at Key Stage 5 (A-Level) .
• Strong subject knowledge across all core topics (e.g., approaches, research methods, debates, and specific option units).
• A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students to achieve top grades and develop critical analytical skills.
• A collaborative mindset, committed to contributing positively to departmental planning and student success.

Salary and Benefits

• Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Inner London Teachers (currently £40,317 - £62,496 for 2025/2026).
