English Teaching Role - Newham PRU (ASAP start)
We are working with a PRU in Newham seeking a resilient and skilled English Teacher for the remainder of the academic year.
About the Role Running from February half-term to July 2026 , this full-time role involves leading GCSE English classes. You will need to be an expert in building relationships, as the students you will work with can be challenging and often have a complicated relationship with school.

Responsibilities
Establish firm, fair, and kind classroom boundaries.
Teach English Language GCSE to small groups of 11–16-year-olds.
Collaborate with support staff to manage and de-escalate challenging situations.
Requirements
QTS is an absolute requirement.
A deep understanding of GCSE English and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
Right to work in the UK. No visa sponsorship provided.
Salary M1 – UPS3 (£40,317 – £62,496) Pro-rata.
