Female Childrens Residential Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate female children's residential team leader to oversee the care and support of an all-girls children's home in a residential setting. This role is pivotal in ensuring that each child's needs are met through effective care plans and a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience working with children, and the ability to drive initiatives that promote the well-being and development of young individuals. Responsibilities * Lead and manage a team of childcare staff, ensuring high standards of care and support for all children. * Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to each child's needs. * Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children to thrive. * Communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure collaborative care. * Monitor the progress of children in the programme and adjust care strategies as necessary. * Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices in childcare and behaviour management. * Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organisational policies regarding child welfare. * Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of life for children in residence. Experience * Proven experience in childcare or a related field is essential, with a strong understanding of child development principles. * Familiarity with creating and managing care plans tailored to individual children's needs. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families. * Experience working directly with children in a residential or community setting is highly desirable. * IT proficiency to maintain records, communicate effectively, and manage documentation related to care plans.
