Arthur is currently partnering with a highly regarded global (re)insurer in the London Market to appoint a Pricing Actuary into a key role within their established Actuarial & Analytics function.

The role offers an excellent opportunity for a nearly/newly qualified pricing actuary or analytics professional to support pricing strategy, deliver insights, and work closely with underwriting to influence business performance.

This is a visible and commercially focused role where you’ll support strategic decision-making, and contribute to the ongoing development of team capability and pricing sophistication.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting key pricing and analytics workstreams across the business
• Building, developing, and deploying pricing models for underwriting teams
• Delivering segmentation, profitability, claims, and capital analyses to support decision-making
• Providing actionable insights to underwriting divisions to inform strategy and planning
• Partnering closely with underwriters to ensure pricing delivers tangible business value
• Supporting the development and upskilling of the wider Pricing & Analytics team
• Delivering ad-hoc analytical support on complex or bespoke underwriting queries
• Driving a data-led approach to pricing and performance management

Requirements

• Nearly/Newly qualified Actuary (or equivalent experience within pricing/analytics)
• Strong experience within London Market pricing or insurance analytics
• Proven track record of building and deploying pricing models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven mindset
• Ability to deliver clear, commercially relevant insights to underwriting and senior stakeholders
