Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver
📍 Location: Beckton, East London
🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM (with flexibility required)
💰 Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
📅 Holiday: 25 days (with Christmas shutdown)

About the Role:
Our client is currently looking for a Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join their hardworking team based in Beckton, East London. This is a full-time, hands-on role with a key responsibility for supporting daily warehouse operations - and occasionally stepping in to cover driving duties during staff absences (annual leave or sickness).

Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Duties (Primary Role):
* Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
* Unloading and loading deliveries safely
* Carrying out inventory checks and maintaining accurate stock records
* Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
* Operating equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)

Driving Duties (Cover Only):
* Covering delivery routes during driver absence
* Ensuring timely and professional customer deliveries
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues

What We're Looking For:
* Prior warehouse experience preferred (but not essential)
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Reliable and flexible with working hours
* Good communication skills and a strong team player
* Forklift license (advantageous but not essential - training available)
* Full UK driving licence (required for driving cover)
