Description

Legal Knowledge

  • Monitor and communicate key legal and market developments.
  • Draft and update knowledge resources, including standard forms and precedents.
  • Maintain and curate resources via the firm's knowledge platforms.
  • Act as a sounding board for technical queries and provide advice where appropriate.
  • Support risk management by tracking regulatory changes.

Lawyer Training

  • Design and deliver engaging legal training programs.
  • Capture and share valuable training materials.
  • Assist with internal and client-facing training initiatives.

Client-Facing Initiatives

  • Produce thought leadership, client alerts, and articles.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage know-how to strengthen client relationships.

Innovation & Legal Technology

  • Drive efficiencies through legal tech and document automation.
  • Collaborate on AI and process improvement initiatives.

Knowledge Management Strategy

  • Lead and communicate KM strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Engage partners and fee-earners to inform priorities.

Other Responsibilities

  • Participate in KM meetings and share best practices across the firm.
  • Build strong relationships across teams and offices.
  • Provide additional knowledge support as required.

Profile

A successful Litigation & Disputes Counsel applicant should have:

  • A strong educational background in law or a related field.
  • Proven experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with legal regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
