Role: Principal/ Director, Commercial Effectiveness
Location: London (Hybrid) The UK Commercial Effectiveness (CE) team helps pharmaceutical clients bring their products to market effectively and maintain an optimized promotional strategy through to loss of exclusivity. Our consulting projects span areas such as Sales Force Effectiveness, Go to Market Strategy, Commercial Organisation Design and Market Assessment, and combine quantitative analysis of IQVIA's data assets with qualitative insights gained from IQVIA experts or from primary market research.A Principal in the CE team works directly with clients to develop business opportunities and oversee projects delivered by the Commercial Effectiveness Team. As a senior member of the team they will be expected to collaborative closely with other IQVIA departments to shape innovative ways of addressing our clients' problems using IQVIA's wealth of data assets, analytical capabilities and subject matter expertise. They would be responsible for owning relationships within specific large pharmaceutical organisations, and would be expected to perform against assigned revenue targets. Essential Functions
• Primary owner of client engagements within the area of commercial effectiveness, with ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction and delivering high levels of quality/added value.
• Meets or exceeds assigned revenue targets by developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that address complex client issues.
• Responsible for significant and tangible client impact from all engagements.
• Take a leadership role within the CES team, responsible for line management of 4 - 5 team members, and responsible for improving ways of working throughout the team.
• Seeks out and identifies new revenue opportunities at existing and potential clients - ensures a continuous flow of business from client engagements.
• Takes a lead role in proposal development to ensure actionable, on-target and timely proposals are provided to clients.
• Serves as a solutions-based expert, internally and externally, by applying consultative problem-solving skills.
• Identifies issues of importance to the industry/clients and works with CoE Leaders and/or Geographic Leaders to develop tangible and commercial offerings.
• Contributes to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA in the market place, e.g. through speaking engagements, client meetings, publications, etc.
• Proactively continues to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing.
• Proactively mentors, coaches and shares subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world-class solutions for clients. Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Master's Degree preferred
• Moderate experience in the life science or consulting industry.
• In-depth and long-standing relationships with client companies, especially at a senior level
• Deep expertise in areas such as sales force effectiveness, go-to-market strategy, commercial organisation design and market assessment
