Surety Account Handler

Surety Account Handler Location: London Salary: Negotiable + benefits

The team at Xenia are currently looking for a Surety Account Handler to join our professional and welcoming team to support our ongoing growth in the region.

You'll be responsible for supporting new Surety requests, all documentation collation, placement and release of bonds.

The day to day:

• Establishing and maintaining client records in hard copy files and Goldmine database;
• Supporting/advising clients with bond applications and bond release monitoring progress of these;
• Advising clients in relation to the type of Surety product they require
• Provide advice to the Brown and Brown network on Surety enquiries and prospects
• Support for clients in relation to accounting queries - premium payments, policy adjustments etc;
• Support for colleagues in relation to the management of bond placements and accurate facility management
• Undertake discussions with underwriters, as appropriate, in relation to all of the above;
• In addition to the above, responsibility for servicing of a selected portfolio of existing clients;
• Ensure that Xenia Brand and code of conduct is adhered to at all times both within the workplace or at other external events;
• Proactive approach to the individual development of Surety knowledge

Your Experience:

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi- task
• Ability to work under pressure as part of a small team
• Good communication skills and customer focused
• Attention to detail and deadlines
• Accurate record keeping
• IT literate with knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are essential
• Some Surety or Insurance industry knowledge beneficial but not essential
• Ideally holding a degree in Business/Finance or similar subject
