Advanced Nurse Practitioner position
JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to fill our Advanced Nurse Practitioner position in London. As an ANP, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care by independently managing patient care plans, prescribing medications, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Responsibilities of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner position in London:
- Independently assess and diagnose patients
- Develop and manage patient care plans
- Prescribe medications, order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner position:
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
- Master’s degree in Advanced Practice Nursing or a related field
- Current NMC registration as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Excellent knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics
- Strong clinical skills and assessment abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner position:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in a hospital or primary care setting
- Experience in managing patients with a variety of medical conditions
- Experience in working with a diverse patient population
