Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Service Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role plays a key part in supporting the service department, ensuring the smooth coordination of plant maintenance, repairs, and compliance. You will work closely with engineers, depot staff, and customers to maintain efficient and accurate service records while providing top-quality administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Service and Workshop teams to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
Schedule and record routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs for all plant and equipment.
Act as the first point of contact for internal and external service enquiries.
Maintain and update service records, job sheets, and compliance documents.
Liaise with engineers to ensure job completion and accurate reporting.
Track service schedules and issue reminders for planned maintenance.
Process purchase orders, invoices, and warranty claims.
Maintain accurate records of equipment service histories, compliance certificates, and parts usage.
Ensure all plant and equipment remains compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
Support depot operations with general administrative tasks as required
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within plant hire, construction, or a similar technical environment.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and service management systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
A proactive, problem-solving approach with strong attention to detail.
