Vector Recruitment Solutions is working with a market-leading Drainage Services Provider delivering first-class maintenance, repair, and emergency drainage solutions to both domestic and commercial clients across London and the Home Counties.

We’re looking for experienced Drainage Engineers who take pride in their work, can think on their feet, and want to join a professional, supportive, and growing team.

The Role

As a Drainage Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for diagnosing and resolving all kinds of drainage problems – from emergency blockages to planned maintenance and repairs. You’ll work with state-of-the-art equipment, provide excellent customer service, and ensure every job is completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Drainage Maintenance & Repairs: Carry out high-pressure water jetting, de-scaling, root cutting, and core cleaning.
- CCTV Drainage Surveys: Operate CCTV equipment to inspect drainage systems and identify issues.
- Emergency Call-Outs: Attend urgent and reactive drainage issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
- Minor Plumbing Works: Remove and reinstall toilets/urinals, replace isolation valves, and carry out small repairs.
- Safe & Compliant Working: Always follow health & safety protocols and industry best practices.

What We’re Looking For

- Proven Experience in drainage engineering – internal and external blockages, repairs, and maintenance.
- Technical Skills in Electro Mechanical tools, high-pressure jetting, and CCTV drainage inspection.
- Basic Plumbing Skills – ability to remove and reinstate toilets / urinals and replace cistern components
- Full UK Driving Licence (maximum six penalty points).
- Reliability & Professionalism – punctual, organised, and customer-focused.
- Problem-Solving Ability – logical approach to diagnosing and fixing issues.
