About the Role

A friendly and supportive primary school in Greenwich is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team from 13th October. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children in Reception and Nursery, helping them to build confidence, develop key skills, and enjoy learning from the very start of their school journey.

The successful Early Years Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities, encourage positive behaviour, and ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group support in Reception and Nursery.

• Assist in delivering creative and play-based learning activities.

• Encourage children's independence, social skills, and confidence.

• Help maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.

• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support children's development.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as an Early Years Teaching Assistant or within EYFS is desirable.

• Understanding of the EYFS curriculum.

• A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
