Product Manager- Dating

You'll be joining our Dating product team, focused on building the best possible experience around matching, communication, and discovery while ensuring the experience is safe, private, and authentic.
We're looking for a passionate and creative Product Manager with a proven track record of delivering impactful product initiatives in the dating space. You'll be the product owner for a key area of our app, deeply understanding user needs, defining the product roadmap, and collaborating closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Marketing teams to deliver exceptional value to our users.
Responsibilities:- Lead a creative product strategy for key dating app features, such as matching algorithms, profile discovery, and in-app communication tools. Communicate this strategy effectively to stakeholders.
- Prioritize and manage R&D resources within an Agile/Scrum framework , ensuring alignment with product goals and roadmap.
- Drive a data-driven and KPI-focused approach to decision-making, utilizing A/B testing, user analytics, and market research to optimize product performance. Focus on key dating app metrics like match rate, conversation starts, and user retention.
- Proactively collaborate and align with stakeholders , including peer PMs, marketing, customer support, and trust & safety teams, to ensure a seamless user experience and consistent brand messaging.
- Own the entire product lifecycle for your area, from ideation and design to launch, iteration, and ongoing maintenance.
- Champion excellence within the team , setting a high bar for quality and innovation.
- Deeply understand user behavior and motivations within the dating app context , leveraging user research and feedback to inform product decisions.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Manager in leading dating apps
- A self-starter with a passion for solving complex problems and a deep understanding of the dating app landscape.
- The ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and limited resources, while maintaining a clear focus on the user experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build consensus and drive collaboration across teams. You should be able to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely, using data to support your recommendations.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Direct experience as a Product Manager in dating apps, and other consumer-facing mobile applications is a significant advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with trust & safety, moderation, and anti-fraud measures within a dating app or social platform is highly desirable. Understanding of dating app-specific safety concerns is a plus.
- Familiarity with dating app monetization strategies (subscriptions, in-app purchases, etc.) is a plus.
