Life as an AI & Data AI Summer Intern

As an AI & Data Summer intern, you’ll harness advanced AI and analytics to uncover insights from complex datasets, working on high-impact projects across a range of industries. You’ll help design and build cutting edge solutions and agentic workflows that drive business insight, streamline operations and enhance decision-making. Alongside diverse, cross-functional teams, you’ll bring data to life through powerful visualisations and storytelling, while contributing to the development of AI & Data strategies for leading global businesses. What you’ll need

To join our 12-week AI & Data Summer Internship, you’ll need to be a penultimate-year undergraduate or Integrated Masters student at a UK university who are curious, driven, and eager to make an impact.Whether you're studying Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Social Sciences, or any subject that builds a strong foundation in analytical thinking and data handling, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Development Path

Once you’ve completed your initial training, you’ll be ready to take on your first role. Project placements vary based on business needs, and we encourage interns to explore a wide range of opportunities to discover what excites them most. Typical roles on this programme may include:

Where you’ll work:

At Accenture, we value collaboration and connection. You’ll be expected to work from your assigned UK office at least three days per week, so you must live within commuting distance. Depending on project needs, you may also spend time at client sites across the UK—sometimes more than three days a week. Expect a dynamic, hands-on environment where in-person teamwork helps you grow, build relationships, and make a meaningful impact.

Key Dates

Our summer internship starts on Monday 29th June 2026 and ends on Friday 18th September 2026. Places are offered on a first come first served basis, we encourage you to apply early.Deadline for applications is 30th November 2025, however we reserve the right to close earlier depending on demand.

You can apply for one role in one location each year, so take your time choosing the best fit for you.

• Step 1: Submit your Application Online - Complete and submit your application online.
• Step 2: Complete the Discovery Portal - This is our online assessment designed to evaluate your strengths and skills. It also gives you a feel for what it’s like to work at Accenture. You’ll receive a personal feedback report – whether you pass or not.
• Step 3: Interviews - If you pass the assessment, you’ll be invited to interview with us.
  • Interviews typically include: One interview with a recruiter. A final interview with a manager from the business.
