Mini Bar Attendant

Duties and Responsibilities
As Mini Bar Host, I will support the In Room Dining Manager and assume responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:
- Stock and re-stock the mini bar amenities at the property as per standards.
- Manage and maintain adequate inventory of mini bar items as per standards.
- Collect, clean, sanitize and fill up all reusable glass bottles for water and transport the bottles to the floor pantries. Ensure water stock is optimal in each floor pantry.
- Work with an empathetic attitude and if there is any problem which cannot be handled, contact the In Room Dining Supervisor.
- Ensure that all guests are greeted courteously and attentively in the working area.
- Recommend and promote items as directed by Supervisor.
- Maintain and update of guest history files and disbursement of relevant information ensuring guest requests and preferences and/or food allergies are implemented whenever possible.
- Collect and deliver food and beverage related laundry according to resort procedure.
- Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B day to day activities.
- Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications
To execute the position of Mini Bar Host, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year’s experience in a similar operational role. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
- Familiar with Food and Beverage terminology, application, operation, wine service, costs, menu development food and hygiene codes and controlling inventory
- Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
