Lead IP Counsel, Luxury

About the Opportunity
A unique opportunity now exists for a Senior IP Counsel to join for 12 months (start ASAP.)
You will come on board and provide key support on global IP strategies, enforcement matters and design protection. You will also manage the contentious portfolio globally for various brands. You will conduct worldwide searches and clearance checks for trade marks and you will provide vigilant management of trade mark, design and copyright portfolios. The role will work closely with the global IP team and the brand protection team as well as the Chief IP Counsel.
About You
A strong IP background, ideally including in-house experience, with excellent knowledge of trade marks and brands is essential. The ability to work collaboratively with the business and the global IP teams is also key. You must be able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of IP and the ability to manage complex IP matters in a commercial way. Given the nature and complexity of the IP work involved, previous experience working for a luxury brand or with a high profile consumer brand would be useful, although experience working in private practice, particularly with luxury or consumer brands, will also be of interest.
This is a highly unique opportunity for an IP lawyer to work with some of the most prestigious brands in the world for 12 months.
