Economics helps students understand how markets operate, how organisations make decisions and how economic issues affect individuals and society. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Economics Teacher to register for daily supply work across Sutton .

The Opportunity
We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Economics Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Sutton .
This is not a permanent or full-time position . Instead, teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations and the requirements of local schools.
Assignments can include individual cover days or short blocks, allowing you to maintain a flexible schedule while continuing to support students' learning.
The Role
As a Daily Supply Economics Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage students to analyse economic ideas and apply their knowledge to real-world situations.
Lesson Delivery: Deliver well-structured Economics lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
Economic Knowledge: Cover topics such as supply and demand, markets, government intervention, inflation, unemployment and economic growth where appropriate.
Analysis & Evaluation: Encourage students to interpret data, evaluate economic arguments and reach well-reasoned conclusions.
Student Engagement: Use relevant examples and current economic issues to help students connect theory with the world around them.
Classroom Management: Maintain a calm, focused and purposeful learning environment.

What We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent where applicable.

A confident and adaptable approach to teaching.
The ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students.
Reliability and professionalism.
A genuine commitment to supporting students' academic development.
A valid legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
